Paediatric First Aid 

The aim of this qualification is to support and inform learners wishing to become a paediatric first-aider with a responsibility for the welfare of infants and children. 

Course contents

- The roles and responsibilities of a first-aider 

-Assessment of an emergency situation safely

CPR and AED administration 

- administration of first aid to a choking infant or child 

- dealing with shock, scalds, bleeds, bites, stings, and minor injuries 

- providing first aid to an infant or a child with anaphylaxis 

dealing with casualties with fractures, and spinal or head injuries.
