Door Supervisor Level 2

A level 2 award for door supervisors in the private security industry qualification is required by law for an individual to apply for a SIA licence to work as a door supervisor.

- The importance of safe working practices

- Drug-misuse legislation

- Issues and procedures relevant to the role of a door supervisor

- Licensing law

- Queue management

- How to recognise, assess and reduce risk in conflict situations

- Physical interventions and the implications of their use

Duration and Exam information 

This course runs for a duration of 8 days inclusive of Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and exam day and ACT completion on Day 1

This course has 4 online assessments at the end of the course, 3 practical assessments for Physical Intervention and Conflict Management and Search procedure, 1 practical assessment for EFAW (CPR and AED demonstration) and 1 paper based multiple choice assessment for Emergency First Aid at Work
