SIA Course Entry Requirements 

As a training provider, we must ensure that all learners have the appropriate level of English language skills before enrolling onto the course. Security operatives are required to communicate effectively, including contacting emergency services and managing conflict situations, so strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills are essential.

All learners will complete an initial English language assessment. As a minimum, learners must demonstrate language skills equivalent to Level 1 standard. We are required to assess that learners meet these standards before they can be accepted for training and assessment.

 

This qualification is suitable for learners over the age of 18.
