Underage Sales Prevention Level 2 

1 day course 

Course topics include: the law relating to the underage sale of restricted products or services, how to refuse the sale of an age-restricted product, how to manage conflict, why you should record admissions and sale refusals, other topics related to alcohol sale in hospitality.

Food Allergen Control in Catering - Level 2

1 day course 

Course topics include: knowledge and understanding of food allergens and foods commonly causing intolerances, characteristics and effects, the importance of effectively communication regarding allergenic ingredients, how staff can minimize the risk of cross-contamination.

Drink Spiking Awareness 

1 day course 

Course topics include: target groups, motives behind spiking and associated criminal intent, common agents used, physical and psychological symptoms, how to distinguish normal alcohol intoxication from spiking, practical risk-reduction measures, safety initiatives in place, how to create venue-specific safeguarding policies, steps to be taken if someone appears to have been spiked, how to assist and monitor a victim, legal reporting procedures, preserving evidence.

Health and Safety in the Workplace - Level 1

1 day course 

Course topics include: the main responsibilities in the workplace, how the workplace can affect health and safety, employer responsibilities, employee responsibilities, common hazards, control measures, classes of health and safety signage.

Emergency First Aid Awareness

Course topics include: understanding the principles of first aid, how to alert advanced medical help, managing an incident safely, basic life support/recovery position, provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries, choking, bleeding and shock.
